The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) and TrackWizz, the RegTech platform of TSS Consultancy Private Limited, have entered into a collaboration to strengthen education and capacity building in regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering (AML) and market surveillance through NISM’s RegTech Lab.
The initiative will provide students and capital market professionals with practical exposure to regulatory technology through structured learning programmes, technology demonstrations, case studies and simulated scenarios. Participants will explore risk assessment, transaction monitoring, alert analysis, investigations and regulatory reporting.
TrackWizz will contribute its technology platform and expertise in AML, CKYC compliance and market surveillance to help learners understand the practical application of RegTech in capital markets. The initiative also aims to support NISM’s objectives in professional education, research, innovation and capacity building.
NISM director Shashi Krishnan said the RegTech Lab aims to bridge the gap between knowledge of regulatory requirements and their practical application, preparing professionals to understand market conduct risks and the technologies used to identify and address them.
Sagar Chandrakant Tanna, founder and CEO of TrackWizz, said the collaboration would combine domain expertise and technology to strengthen the RegTech ecosystem and help learners understand how technology can support compliance and detect financial misconduct.
The agreement was exchanged at the NISM–TrackWizz Collaboration Meet held at the TSS Consultancy office in Mumbai. The event was attended by NISM and TrackWizz representatives, including TrackWizz chairperson Chandrakant Tanna, CTO Malay Shah, CFO Amit Amlani and NISM manager Sanket Nagesh Ahire.
