Birla Open Minds has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Burlington English to integrate digital learning resources with its English Reader textbooks for Grades 1–8. The initiative is scheduled for rollout across the school network in the 2027–28 academic session.
The integration will provide students access to interactive vocabulary tools, games, videos, documentaries, songs and digital worksheets through the Birla Open Minds app, extending learning beyond the classroom.
Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Frameworks, the programme aims to develop students’ vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Teachers will receive orientation in multimodal pedagogy and access to resources, including a worksheet generator, to support differentiated learning.
Nirvaan Birla, managing director of Birla Open Minds, said the collaboration would integrate digital resources with English Readers to help students experience the language through listening, speaking and interactive activities.
Amit Baveja, managing director of Burlington English India, Middle East and Southeast Asia, said the partnership would combine structured learning with digital resources and practical language activities to support students’ language skills and communication confidence.
