Amity University Bengaluru and L&T Technology Services (LTTS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen industry-academia collaboration, promote research and support skill development in emerging technologies.
The agreement will see the establishment of an E-Mobility Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Amity University Bengaluru, with LTTS serving as the knowledge partner. The centre will focus on research, innovation and training in areas including electric mobility, industrial sensing and control systems, building automation technologies and data analytics.
The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) D. Subhakar, Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Bengaluru, and Dr. Guruprasad A. S., Global Practice Head at LTTS, in the presence of representatives from both organisations.
Under the partnership, the two institutions will collaborate on joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programmes, internships, technical workshops, guest lectures and innovation initiatives. Students will also have opportunities to participate in LTTS programmes such as TECHgium®.
According to the institutions, the collaboration aims to strengthen industry engagement, improve career opportunities for students and support the development of technology-driven solutions aligned with industry requirements.
