BDBBPS main block: respected national reputation
Sited on a verdant five-acre campus off the Dwarka Expressway, the BD Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram (BDBBPS, estb. 2003), has acquired a widely respected reputation for providing high-quality, holistic ICT (Information Communication Technologies)-driven education to its 1,236 students mentored by 85 teachers. Currently celebrating its 23rd anniversary, this K-12 school is ranked among the Top 10 co-ed day schools in Gurugram in the latest EducationWorld India School Rankings 2025-26, and also ranked #1 countrywide in the EducationWorld Grand Jury India School Rankings 2025-26 for STEAM Education Excellence.
A constituent of the Blue Bells Group of Schools that owns and manages four K-12 schools in Delhi NCR, this CBSE-affiliated school was promoted over two decades ago under the aegis of Shri Dhanpat Rai Memorial Bal Shiksha Vikas Society (estb.1981) by former Chief Town Planner of the Haryana government Brahm Dutt Gulati, his educationist wife Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, and Shri Mahesh Chandra. The school’s mission is to “nurture intellectually, emotionally and ethically strong global citizens”. Since then, BDBBPS has evolved into a full-fledged co-ed day school distinguished for harnessing technology and global best practices while remaining true to its mission statement.

Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati
“We are committed to the continuous improvement and upgradation of our curriculum, teaching-learning practices and infrastructure to align with the evolving demands of the 21st century. Over the past two decades, we have developed a learning environment that nurtures the intellectual growth and psychomotor development of our students. At the heart of all Blue Bells Schools is a strong value system woven into everyday learning experiences. Our philosophy represents a fusion of Eastern wisdom and Western perspectives, creating a balanced and forward-thinking educational approach. This blend encourages curiosity, creativity, and analytical thinking while instilling integrity and resilience. By fostering innovation, critical inquiry, and passion for lifelong learning, we empower students to confidently navigate global challenges and seize emerging opportunities,” says Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, a political science, public administration and teaching alumna of Panjab University with an honorary doctorate conferred by the University of Columbia, USA.
To attain its objective of nurturing well-rounded young learners, the management has heavily invested in world-class academic and sports infrastructure. The campus hosts a spacious three-storeyed academic block with 60 air-conditioned classrooms, 41 fitted with interactive whiteboards. It also houses a sound-proof auditorium and atrium for hosting academic conclaves, dedicated seminar and activity halls, a fully equipped medical infirmary to ensure student well-being and a counselling cell led by a panel of counsellors to provide psychological and career advice. The school’s management justifiably takes great pride in its 15 hi-tech laboratories for science, Atal Tinkering, robotics, and computer science labs, fine arts, rangoli and sculpture rooms to stimulate innovation and hands-on exploration. Additionally, the school maintains two well-stocked libraries that together house an impressive collection of 19,072 print volumes to encourage research, the reading habit, and intellectual growth of students.

Ashish Gulati
“BDBBPS was established to meet the evolving needs of 21st-century learners. Therefore, we have designed a dynamic, inquiry-driven curriculum to make experiential learning an essential part of every child’s academic progression. Through theme-based, transdisciplinary learning, students are encouraged to think critically and make connections across subjects. Committed to quality education, the school invests in its highly qualified teachers by conducting regular professional development workshops and training programs,” says Ashish Gulati, an alum of Manipal & Manchester universities and the top-ranked Management Development Institute, Gurugram, and Vice Chairman of the Blue Bells Group of Schools.
In its quest to provide balanced education, the management accords high importance to sports education. The campus boasts globally benchmarked sports facilities, including a dedicated cricket ground, a spacious indoor sports arena, and a well-maintained football field. Students also have access to two basketball, four badminton, lawn tennis and volleyball courts, a fully equipped table-tennis room and a roller-skating rink. Specialised rooms are allotted for yoga, aerobics, chess, carrom, and Taekwondo training. With this comprehensive sports infrastructure and professional guidance, it is no surprise that Blue Bellians have consistently excelled at national-level cricket and badminton competitions, as well as in several prestigious inter-school tournaments.
Co-curricular education — instrumental and vocal music, karate, fine arts, classical and Western dance, sculpture — forms an integral part of the curriculum providing diverse opportunities for creative expression and physical development. These activities help students build confidence, discipline, and teamwork while discovering their individual interests. In addition, a wide range of hobby clubs, including theatre, photography, financial literacy, data science and design thinking offer primary-secondary students encouragement to develop literary, creative, technical, and artistic skills.
Ranked among the Top 50 SDG Schools of India by Futuristic Trends in Education & SDG Awards and conferred the Green School Award at the Sustainability Innovation Awards 3.0. and the SDG Super Hero — Bronze Award at the Global Sustainability Awards 2025 among others, environmental awareness is seamlessly woven into the school’s curriculum through hands-on activities, tree planting drives, eco-clubs, and student-led initiatives that encourage responsible citizenship.
The school management’s focus on holistic education has paid off by way of excellent board exam results. Of the 125 students who wrote the CBSE class X exam in February 2025, 44 averaged above 90 percent while school and CBSE topper Harshita Yadav and Ranvir Yadav averaged 99 percent. Of the 110 students who wrote the class XII exam, 40 averaged above 90 percent.
With BDBBPS having established an excellent reputation in the national capital region, the top management has drawn up a master plan to “reinvent ourselves to keep up with the ever-changing world”. “We intend to further strengthen our commitment to holistic and future-ready education by expanding technology-enabled learning, integrating artificial intelligence and advanced digital tools in our classrooms, and enhancing STEAM and innovation-driven programmes. Moreover, we plan to deepen our focus on sustainability through green initiatives, renewable energy adoption, and SDG-aligned students’ projects. Continuous professional development of teachers, enrichment of student well-being and life-skills programmes, and stronger global and industry collaborations will be our priorities as the school prepares learners to meet 21st century academic, social, and environmental challenges,” says Ashish Gulati.
