Pune-based edtech startup Beep App, formerly known as EventBeep, has launched its career-focused application aimed at helping Gen-Z users convert digital content consumption into structured career outcomes.
The platform targets late school students, college undergraduates, postgraduates and early-stage professionals, offering an integrated ecosystem to explore career paths, understand job roles, develop relevant skills and access internships and employment opportunities.
The launch addresses what the company describes as a gap in career clarity among young users, many of whom face challenges in decision-making despite access to large volumes of information. Existing platforms, it noted, are often divided between entertainment-driven social media and conventional course-based learning, with limited connection between learning and employment.
Beep App seeks to bridge this gap through a content-led model that simplifies career discovery. The platform provides structured insights across domains such as artificial intelligence, product management, design, content and data analytics, including role expectations, required skills and progression pathways, supported by inputs from industry practitioners.
At the centre of the platform is a closed-loop model designed to enable users to learn, explore and earn within a single ecosystem. The company reported facilitating over 30,000 student placements through its platform to date.
“Gen-Z does not lack ambition; what they often lack is structured direction,” said Saurabh Mangrulkar, founder and chief executive officer of Beep App. “The current digital environment offers exposure without clarity. The platform is designed to organise that exposure into actionable pathways so users can move from intent to execution with greater confidence.”
The company said it plans to expand the depth of its career content across emerging sectors, increase its network of hiring partners, and develop more personalised pathways based on user behaviour.
Founded in 2021, Beep App reports serving more than 6.5 million users, partnering with over 1,500 colleges and working with more than 7,800 hiring companies across India.
