The Karnataka government will host the second edition of the Bengaluru Skill Summit from November 3 to 5, 2026, at The Lalit Ashok in Bengaluru, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, academicians and skilling organisations to discuss workforce development and employability. Organised by the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood (SDEL), the summit aims to strengthen collaboration between government, industry and academia to build a future-ready workforce.
Held under the theme “Workforce 2030: Scale, Systems, Synergy,” the summit will focus on expanding access to skilling, strengthening institutional frameworks and aligning training programmes with evolving industry requirements. Discussions will cover emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, deep tech and green jobs, while also addressing apprenticeship-led learning, workforce mobility, inclusion and innovation.
“The Bengaluru Skill Summit 2026 marks an important step in Karnataka’s continued commitment to building a future-ready workforce,” said skill development minister Dr. Sharanaprakash Rudrappa Patil. Hosted by the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC) in collaboration with the Karnataka Skill Development Authority (KSDA), with Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) as knowledge partner, the summit is expected to attract more than 4,500 participants, 150 speakers and over 100 exhibitors.
