Eruditus 7-point program
Mumbai, February 9. The Singapore-based Eruditus Group, a conglomerate that enables individuals, companies and governments to access high-quality and affordable education, announced strategic partnerships with seven global universities to enable them to establish India campuses in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Gurugram. Under these partnerships, Eruditus will work closely with each university to establish on-ground campuses in India enabling them to offer degree and other programmes.
The seven universities are: Illinois Institute of Technology (Mumbai campus); University of Aberdeen (Mumbai campus); University of Bristol (Mumbai campus); University of Liverpool (Bengaluru campus); University of New South Wales (UNSW) – (to be notified); University of Victoria (Gurugram campus); University of York (Mumbai campus)
“Global student mobility is structurally shifting. Rising costs and policy barriers are keeping more Indian students at home, even as demand and opportunities for high-quality education in India grows. For Eruditus, this is a long-term nation-building effort to strengthen India’s innovation ecosystem by enabling students to study, research, and commercialise technology at home while serving the global ecosystem. These partnerships will go beyond teaching, driving research, industry collaboration, and real upward social mobility,” said Ashwin Damera, co-founder & CEO of Eruditus, announcing this initiative in Mumbai.
Vijaybhoomi-KEDGE partnership
New Delhi, February 23. The Karjat (Maharashtra)-based Vijaybhoomi University (estb.2018), signed a global academic partnership with KEDGE Business School, France. This collaboration brings together Vijaybhoomi University with AACSB accreditation and KEDGE Business School, France, a ‘triple-crown’ (AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS) accredited B-school.
“By collaborating with the globally respected, triple-crown-accredited KEDGE Business School, we intend to expand international pathways that combine academic excellence with real-world industry exposure for our students. Our objective is to prepare confident, globally aware, and professionally competitive students,” said Sanjay Padode, President, Vijaybhoomi University, speaking on the occasion.

JGU’s new Masters programmes
Mumbai, February 24. The Sonipat (Haryana)-based O.P. Jindal Global University has launched three new degree programmes in Electoral Analysis & Management, Political Communication and Legislative Drafting. These are one-year Master’s programmes.
“These courses will prepare the future generation in a way that their participation will strengthen democratic institutions, democratic processes and judicial systems,” said Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla.
Added (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, Founding Vice Chancellor, O.P. Jindal Global University: “Through internships, live projects, simulations, and interaction with policymakers and communication professionals, students will graduate with practical skills, professional networks, and domain expertise that are highly valued across government institutions, political organisations, consulting firms, media houses, regulatory authorities, and international organisations.”
AI in education MOU
Mumbai, February 16. Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BharatGen Technology Foundation (IIT-Bombay) to strengthen and expand the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in India’s education sector. This strategic collaboration intends to build and deploy indigenous, multilingual AI solutions to enhance learning outcomes and increase access to quality education countrywide.
“This partnership marks a significant step toward building a scalable, India-focused AI ecosystem in education, one that empowers teachers, enhances student learning, and drives systemic improvement across the education landscape,” said Ganesh Raja, CEO, Kotak Education Foundation, speaking on the occasion.
