The Enso Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Enso Group, has launched a three-year scholarship programme at Jai Hind College, Mumbai, committing a minimum of ₹5 lakh annually to support undergraduate and postgraduate students on the basis of merit and financial need.
The announcement was made during the college’s convocation for the Class of 2025, where Vaibhav Maloo, Managing Director of the Enso Group and President of the Enso Foundation, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Under the Enso Scholarships programme, between 10 and 50 undergraduate and postgraduate students will receive financial assistance each year. The initiative aims to help students continue their education by reducing financial barriers at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Speaking at the event, Maloo said the foundation hopes that no student is denied education at the institution because of financial constraints.
Established in 2013, the Enso Foundation supports initiatives in education, healthcare, conservation and animal welfare. The organisation said the scholarship programme is part of its broader efforts to improve access to higher education for deserving students.
