The Eruditus IBC Open House Series 2026 has been announced to connect Indian students and parents with six international universities through in-person events across multiple cities.
Participating institutions include the University of Aberdeen, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of York, Victoria University, University of Liverpool, and University of Bristol. The series aims to provide a single platform for students to explore academic programmes, admissions processes, and application pathways.
The events will be held in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh, Delhi and Hyderabad between 11 April and 25 April 2026. The format includes faculty-led sessions, programme briefings, and admissions guidance, along with one-to-one interactions between attendees and university representatives.
Parents and counsellors will also be able to participate in discussions and breakout sessions focused on course structures, eligibility criteria, campus insights and career pathways.
The initiative comes amid policy changes such as the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the University Grants Commission’s 2023 regulations, which enable foreign universities to establish campuses in India and expand international collaboration.
According to Ashwin Damera, Co-founder and CEO of Eruditus Group, the development could support talent retention and strengthen India’s higher education ecosystem, while contributing to foreign exchange savings.
The Open House Series is expected to attract participation from students and parents seeking international education opportunities for the 2026–27 academic intake.
