The Bengaluru-based school, which draws on the 452-year heritage of Harrow School in the UK, recently expanded its academic provision from Upper Kindergarten to Grade 12. The institution reports a 60 per cent multicultural boarding community and an international faculty.
In 2025, the school’s Grade 12 cohort secured 83 international university offers. Among them, student Ishanavi Jain received scholarships worth GBP 130,000 from institutions including University of California, San Diego, University of California, Riverside, University of Michigan and Stony Brook University.
Dr Pascoe brings several decades of experience in independent and international schools and previously served for seven years as head of The International School Bangalore. This appointment marks her fourth headship. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management from University of Exeter and a degree in Microbiology from University of Bristol. She has taught Physics and Biology and has worked across academic leadership, curriculum development and pastoral care.
Commenting on her appointment, Dr Pascoe said she looks forward to strengthening academic standards, student support systems and the connection between day and boarding communities at the school.
Dr Pascoe has also served on the HMC Sports Committee, the Institute of Boarding and the IC3 Presidential Committee in India. Earlier in her career, she was a member of the 1992 Summer Olympics women’s rowing squad and has led more than 60 high-altitude climbing expeditions in the Indian Himalayas.
Dr Aseem Chauhan, chairman of the board of governors of Harrow Bengaluru, said Dr Pascoe’s experience in international schooling and focus on academic standards and holistic development align with the school’s vision.
