The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has appealed to students to submit online applications for the admission process for class 11 in Maharashtra.
It has announced the schedule for the regular CAP Round-1 for the academic year 2026-27 under the Central Online Admission Process for Class 11.
Since the declaration of the state’s Class 10 results on May 8, students have been provided with the facility to fill Part-1 and Part-2 of the admission form.
As of May 8, 2026, a total of 7,74,918 (seven lakh 74 thousand 918 students) have registered by filling Part-1 of the admission form.
The admission process consists of three regular rounds, an open to all fourth round and a special fifth round for girls. Accordingly, students are being urged to register online for their admission.
The registration of new students under regular CAP Round-1 , correction in Part-1 and filling of Part-2 will be done on May 21 and 22. Students can give preference to at least one and a maximum of ten junior colleges.
The allotment process of CAP Round-1 will be held between May 23 and 26, and the admission allotment list will be announced on May 26.
Students will be able to get information about the junior colleges allotted for admission through their login. Messages will also be sent through SMS.
To confirm admission, students will be required to attend the concerned junior college between May 26 and 28 to complete the document verification and fee payment process. Information about the vacant seats will be released on May 29, and the schedule for the second round will be announced on May 30.
