The Ministry of Education will organise the ‘Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026’ on 12 and 13 February as a precursor to the India AI Impact Summit, officials said on Tuesday.
The two-day event will be anchored by the Centre of Excellence in AI for Education, which will lead discussions and initiatives during the conclave.
According to a senior ministry official, the conclave will serve as a national platform for strategic partnership-building in AI-enabled education. It will focus on mapping key stakeholders, innovations, opportunities, readiness and scalability across the education ecosystem.
The official said that as the Indian education system enters its next phase of transformation under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the event will bring together policymakers, academia, start-ups and industry representatives to examine how artificial intelligence can support learning at scale in a responsible and inclusive manner.
The conclave will precede the India AI Summit, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from 16 to 20 February. The summit is expected to see participation from global technology leaders, including NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon.
