The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the scanned images of OMR answer sheets and recorded responses for candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026.
According to the NTA, the scanned OMR sheets and responses have been uploaded on its official website and emailed to candidates’ registered email addresses. Candidates can challenge their recorded responses until July 15 by paying a fee of Rs 200 per response.
NEET-UG 2026 was re-conducted on June 21 after the original examination was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak.
NEET-UG is India’s largest undergraduate entrance examination, with nearly 25 lakh candidates appearing annually. The examination is the gateway to around 1.08 lakh MBBS seats, including nearly 56,000 in government medical colleges and approximately 52,000 in private institutions.
The examination is also used for admissions to undergraduate healthcare programmes such as Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and courses in Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha offered by recognised institutions across the country.
