Digital upskilling platform Simplilearn has partnered with the IndiaAI Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to host the national “YUVA AI for ALL” foundational course on its learning platform.
The initiative is aimed at expanding AI literacy and supporting the government’s goal of reaching 10 million citizens with basic knowledge of artificial intelligence. The programme is designed to be accessible to learners across age groups, regions and socio-economic backgrounds.
The YUVA AI for ALL course introduces participants to core concepts of artificial intelligence, its applications and its role in daily life. By offering the course on Simplilearn’s platform, the IndiaAI Mission seeks to widen access to AI education for students, professionals and the general public.
Krishna Kumar, Founder and CEO of Simplilearn, said AI literacy is increasingly necessary across professions and for citizens engaging with digital technologies. He added that the partnership supports the need for large-scale access to foundational AI education.
Under the collaboration, learners who complete the course will receive a co-branded certificate issued by IndiaAI and Simplilearn. The programme combines Simplilearn’s online delivery framework with learning resources provided by the Ministry.
Abhishek Singh, CEO of the IndiaAI Mission, said the partnership would help extend AI awareness and prepare the workforce and youth with basic AI skills needed for future technology-driven roles.
The collaboration is part of ongoing efforts to build a national framework for AI education and promote digital skills among citizens.
