The Department of School Education has announced the complete schedule and preparedness measures for the SSLC and II PUC examinations to be held in March–April 2026. As part of its efforts to support students academically and ensure the smooth conduct of public examinations, the department has introduced multiple student-centric initiatives.

Karnataka’s Minister for School Education, Madhu Bangarappa, said on Tuesday that the II PUC examinations will commence on February 28, 2026, and conclude on March 17, 2026, while the SSLC examinations will be held from March 18, 2026, to April 2, 2026. Over 7.10 lakh II PUC students and 9.02 lakh SSLC students have registered for the examinations across the state.
To strengthen exam preparation, a dedicated Student Corner has been established across educational blocks, providing students with access to blueprints, model question papers, exhaustive question banks, previous years’ question papers with answer keys, and centum papers. Special academic support and remedial teaching are also being provided to students who require additional guidance.
Teachers handling SSLC and II PUC classes have been given focused training on exam-oriented teaching methods and evaluation practices. From the academic year 2025–26, revised syllabi, textbooks, and improved teaching-learning processes have been implemented to enhance learning outcomes.
Valuation of answer scripts will begin on April 7, 2026, for II PUC and April 24, 2026, for SSLC, followed by second valuation processes. The II PUC results will be announced on May 22, 2026, and SSLC results on June 1, 2026.
The department has assured that all examination, valuation, and result declaration processes will be conducted transparently and efficiently, ensuring fairness and timely outcomes for students.
