A year of extraordinary quizzing excellence has brought immense pride to Sunbeam School, Lahartara, with its students delivering outstanding performances across some of India’s most prestigious national quiz platforms.

At the National Finals of the CBSE Heritage Quiz, held at the CBSE National Office in New Delhi, Aditya Jaiswal, Shubhan Singh, and Soumy Shekhar Jha rose to the occasion and brought home the prestigious national trophy. The honour was conferred by Mr Rahul Singh, Chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education, making the achievement even more meaningful.

The celebrations continued at QUEST 2025, Asia’s largest STEAM quiz, where the school proudly emerged as National Champion and National Runners-Up.

In the Junior Category, Aradhya Dwivedi and Hrishant Singh clinched the championship along with a cash prize of ₹11,000. In the Senior Category, Suryansh Mishra and Atharva Singh secured the Runners-Up position. The students were also awarded laptops and tablets for their outstanding performances.

Adding another major national victory, the school emerged champion at the HDFC ERGO Insurance Quiz Juniors, organised by HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company. Hrishant Singh and Suryansh Mishra clinched the national title in Mumbai, bringing home an impressive cash prize of ₹2.25 lakh.

A historic hat-trick followed at the 30th Gibson Memorial Quiz, hosted by Mayo College, Ajmer. For the third consecutive year, the dynamic duo of Aditya Jaiswal and Shubhan Singh secured the championship, competing against some of the finest schools in the country and once again proving their remarkable consistency and competitive spirit.

The school also shone in the field of psychology, emerging as the National Champion at the 8th edition of PsychED, India’s largest psychology quiz, organised by Fortis Healthcare. The winning team—Shreya Singh, Vinayak Bajaj, and Shreya Pandey—brought home the prestigious trophy along with a cash prize of ₹50,000, books, and scholarships.

These remarkable achievements reflect dedication, curiosity, and a deep passion for learning. With victories spanning heritage, STEAM, psychology, and general knowledge, the school continues to set inspiring benchmarks in quizzing excellence at the national level.
