The Heritage School launched its Silver Jubilee celebrations on June 24, marking 25 years since its establishment, in the presence of Union Minister of State for Education, Dr. Sukanta Majumdar.
The event brought together trustees, educators, students, alumni and parents to commemorate the school’s 25-year journey. The programme began with the National Song, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, prayers, Ganesh Vandana, Gita chanting and cultural performances. A film tracing the school’s journey over the past two and a half decades was also screened.
The school recognised students for academic and sporting achievements, including country toppers in the ISC and ICSE examinations. A special Silver Jubilee volume of the school magazine, Vrittant, was also launched by Dr. Majumdar.
Awards were presented to educators, parents and other individuals for their contributions to education and society, including Distinguished Educator, Distinguished Parent, Special and Lifetime Achievement awards.
Speaking at the event, Principal Seema Sapru reflected on the school’s journey and said it would continue to focus on values-based education and preparing future generations.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Kalyan Bharti Trust and the school’s managing committee, including Chairman Hari Krishna Chaudhary, School Managing Committee Chairman and Kalyan Bharti Trust Vice-Chairman Vikram Swarup, Founder Trustee and Secretary Sajjan Bhajanka, Founder Chairman of The Heritage School Jaydeep Chitlangia, and other trustees.
In his keynote address, Dr. Majumdar congratulated the institution on completing 25 years and acknowledged its contribution to education through its focus on academic standards, discipline, innovation and values.
Student performances, including recitation, yoga, mime and martial arts demonstrations, were also part of the celebrations.
Heritage Group of Institutions CEO Pradip Agarwal said the Silver Jubilee recognised the contributions of students, teachers, parents, alumni and other stakeholders who have been part of the institution’s journey over the past 25 years.
