The One School, an initiative of the Narayana Educational Group, is planning to expand its presence in Hyderabad with a second campus in Kokapet.
The expansion follows the launch of its first campus in Kondapur and forms part of a 10-year roadmap to establish 10 International Baccalaureate (IB) campuses across major Indian metropolitan cities.
The One School offers a personalised learning model that combines internationally benchmarked curricula with individual learning pathways, continuous mentorship and flexible academic support.
Its approach focuses on academic development alongside emotional and social growth, with values including excellence, discipline, environmental stewardship and empathy. The school also runs a Gifted & Talented programme, developed in collaboration with Northwestern University in the US, to provide advanced learners with academic enrichment and specialised mentorship.
“The Kondapur campus, which currently caters to learners from Pre-Nursery to Grade 2, has been designed around the concept of the physical environment as a “Third Teacher”. Its learning spaces can be adapted for individual work, group projects and focused learning, while dedicated interactive areas combine play, technology and hands-on activities. The campus also incorporates child-focused design aimed at supporting safety and well-being,” according to Nuwaira Pasha, director of schools, The One School.
The school’s model moves away from a standardised approach, allowing learning pathways, pace and support to be adjusted to individual learners. The expansion into Kokapet is expected to be the next step in the group’s plans to scale this model across India through its planned IB campuses according to a note from the school.
Campus highlights:
* Third Teacher: Spaces encourage curiosity, exploration and independent learning.
* Flexible Spaces: Classrooms adapt to individual, group and focused learning.
* Safety & Well-being: Child-friendly design supports physical and emotional well-being.
* Interactive Zones: Play, technology and hands-on activities support engagement.
* Child-centric design: The campus combines personalised learning with spaces.
