The University of Liverpool has confirmed Alembic City, Whitefield in Bengaluru as the location for its new campus, set to begin operations in 2026. The campus will support India–UK collaboration in research focused on sustainability, digital transformation, and health sciences.
The campus will feature smart classrooms, research and innovation spaces, collaborative hubs, specialised labs, and access to Bloomberg terminals. These facilities aim to support practical learning, cross-disciplinary engagement, and strong industry interaction.
Admissions are now open for the first cohort in 2026, with programmes in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Biomedical Sciences, and Game Design—the first such offering by a UK university in India.
The University also plans to establish a significant research presence in India, addressing shared challenges in sustainability, innovation, digital growth, and health sciences. The campus’s design includes modular learning spaces, an integrated experience zone, and a co-working hub to encourage collaboration between students, faculty, industry, and the local community.
