Veltris has launched the Veltris Vertical AI Academy in India and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Woxsen University, making it the academy’s first private university partner.
The academy, to be established at Woxsen University’s Hyderabad campus, aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and enterprise AI adoption through an industry-led curriculum developed jointly by the two organisations.
The programme will follow a three-phase model comprising classroom learning, a capstone project, and internship and placement opportunities. Students from Woxsen University’s School of Business, School of Technology and School of Sciences will be trained by Veltris’ AI professionals alongside university faculty.
The curriculum will focus on Vertical AI, which applies artificial intelligence to industry-specific business challenges. Veltris will provide enterprise use cases, applied AI frameworks and access to the Databricks ecosystem, while Woxsen University will contribute academic delivery and faculty support.
According to the organisations, the initiative is intended to prepare students for enterprise AI roles by combining academic instruction with project-based learning, industry mentorship and certification opportunities. The academy also aims to support India’s AI talent development in line with the objectives of the IndiaAI Mission.
