VIBGYOR Group of Schools hosted the visiting MTV Lübeck as part of its India Tour 2026, engaging students across its Mumbai and Navi Mumbai campuses through training sessions and interactive meetings.
The multi-day programme began at VIBGYOR High, Kharghar, with a practice session focused on coordination, speed and tactical play. This was followed by interactions at VIBGYOR High, Malad East and VIBGYOR High, Goregaon, where school teams engaged with players and discussed gameplay and training approaches.
Members of the visiting delegation also met Rustom Kerawalla and Kavita Kerawalla. Discussions covered the role of sport in student development and the importance of international exposure.
Students were introduced to training methods, match scenarios and team-based strategies used at competitive levels. The programme also enabled VIBGYOR sports coaches to exchange insights with the visiting team and observe global coaching practices.
Speaking on the initiative, Kavita Kerawalla said that direct engagement with international athletes helps students understand the discipline required in sport and connects effort with outcomes.
The initiative was conducted across multiple campuses and included on-ground and digital coverage of sessions and interactions. It forms part of VIBGYOR’s broader approach to integrating co-curricular activities with academic learning through structured exposure programmes.
