Wellington College International Pune has appointed Nigel Fossey MBE as its Master for the 2026–27 academic year.
Fossey has more than three decades of experience in international education, having held leadership positions across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. An alum of the University of Oxford’s Brasenose College, he most recently served as Principal of The Sultan’s School in Oman.
“I am delighted to be joining the Wellington College International Pune community. I look forward to leading a dynamic team dedicated to providing the very best education for our pupils. Wellington College International Pune is uniquely positioned to nurture the skills and qualities young people need to become the leaders of tomorrow,” said Nigel Fossey on his appointment.
Chairman Anuj Aggarwal said Fossey’s appointment marked an important milestone for the school and that his leadership would support its focus on academic excellence, character development and innovation.
Wellington College International Pune is affiliated with Cambridge International, UK and IB, Geneva. It is an associated school of Wellington College, UK with its established campuses in China and Thailand.
