Amity University Online has launched the Amity Online National Scholarship Aptitude Test (AONSAT) 2026, a national-level initiative aimed at expanding access to higher education through a merit-based scholarship framework.
The first edition of AONSAT will be held on 10 May 2026 in an online proctored format. The test is designed for undergraduate and postgraduate learners and seeks to identify academic potential while providing structured financial support.
Announcing the initiative, Ajit Chauhan said the programme is intended to create pathways for learners by recognising merit and addressing financial barriers. He added that the platform aims to support students in pursuing their academic goals with greater access to opportunities.
Under the scholarship structure, Rank 1 winners will receive a 100 per cent scholarship on the full fee, with one award each for undergraduate and postgraduate categories. Rank 2 winners will receive a 50 per cent scholarship, with two awards in each category, while Rank 3 winners will receive a 20 per cent scholarship, with three awards each. In addition, qualified candidates may receive up to a 25 per cent scholarship on the first semester fee.
The test will be conducted without registration charges. The university stated that the initiative is part of a broader effort to integrate merit recognition, transparency and scale within a single national platform for online higher education.
