Schools build future champions not just of games, but of life – through every sprint, fall, and rise on the playground. In sync with the adage, Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram celebrated its annual sports meet, Athletasia 2025, on December 7.
According to the school’s management, KK Khandelwal, chief national commissioner of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, was the chief guest at the event. The team added, Ram Meher Singh, deputy director, Haryana Sports Department, Rambir Singh and Achint Jain, former sports captain of the school, attended as the guests of honour. Also in attendance were Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, and Alka Singh, principal, BBMS.

In her address, she expressed immense pride in hosting an event that celebrates the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and excellence.
The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the Sports Flag, which was followed by a march past by 10 platoons comprising NCC Cadets, Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls, various Houses, and the school band.
The cultural programme commenced with a rendition of the Hanuman Chalisa. This was followed by a spirited Bihu and Kashmiri dance, classical and folk performances, energetic lavani, and a dynamic presentation on Viksit Bharat. The field then came alive with a series of mass demonstrations – rhythmic yoga, aerobics, a coordinated mass drill, and a striking pyramid formation.

Track events for students, parents, NGO participants, and children with special needs reflected the school’s ethos of inclusion and equal opportunity.
The prize distribution ceremony celebrated the champions of the day as well as achievers of the year in games and sports, with trophies and medals awarded by the chief guest and the director of Blue Bells Model School.
Mother Teresa House bagged the Champion House trophy and Runner-up while Nehru House clinched the Runner-up position. Athletasia 2025 was not merely an event, but a celebration of determination, unity, and the indomitable spirit of the school.
