Canadian International School (CIS), Bengaluru, has announced that it will host the country’s first IronKids Triathlon on August 9, 2026. The event will introduce the IronKids format in India and is designed for participants aged 6 to 16.
The event will be non-competitive and will include triathlon, aquathlon, and run-only categories. The triathlon will consist of swimming, cycling, and running in one continuous event.
Participants will compete in three age-based categories with distances designed for different age groups. The format aims to provide children with an opportunity to participate in multisport activities based on their age.
Shweta Sastri, Managing Director, Canadian International School, said, “We are pleased to host the first IronKids Triathlon in India. At CIS, we view sports as an important part of student development. The event will provide children across Bengaluru and India with an opportunity to participate in a structured multisport event.”
The event will be held at the Canadian International School campus in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. The school will provide the infrastructure for pre-event activities and race-day operations. The campus includes a swimming pool, cycling routes, and running tracks, with medical support and participant monitoring in place for the event.
