Delhi World Public School, Ajmer has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET), a constituent board of the Quality Council of India (QCI), marking a milestone in the institution’s efforts to strengthen quality standards across its academic and administrative operations.
The accreditation was awarded following a comprehensive evaluation process that assessed multiple aspects of the school’s functioning, including academic governance, teaching and learning practices, student safety and wellbeing, infrastructure, administrative systems, transparency and community engagement. The process involved self-assessment, documentation, stakeholder training and reviews of institutional practices against nationally recognised benchmarks.
Established in 2018, Delhi World Public School, Ajmer has grown into one of the larger CBSE-affiliated schools in the region. The institution currently serves nearly 2,800 students and is supported by a workforce of 216 faculty and staff members.
Speaking on the achievement, Pooja Rai Chauhan, Managing Director of Delhi World Public School, Ajmer, said the accreditation process was undertaken to strengthen institutional systems and align school practices with recognised quality standards.
“We are immensely proud to receive NABET Accreditation. The primary purpose of pursuing this accreditation was to strengthen our institutional systems, align our practices with nationally recognised quality benchmarks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of school functioning. It has helped us enhance academic rigour, ensure the highest standards of student safety and wellbeing, improve governance and transparency, and create an even more enriching environment for holistic development,” she said.
The school campus extends across 35 acres and includes smart classrooms equipped with digital learning tools, science and computer laboratories, libraries, activity rooms for arts and performing arts, and sports facilities for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball and athletics. A recently constructed auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,400 has also been added to host academic programmes, cultural events, workshops and community activities.
School officials said the accreditation process has helped review and strengthen systems across various operational areas. They noted that the framework emphasises accountability, continuous monitoring and adherence to established standards, ensuring consistency in educational delivery and institutional management.
The institution follows a curriculum designed to combine academics with co-curricular and extracurricular activities. In addition to academic programmes, students participate in sports competitions, leadership initiatives, community service activities and international exchange programmes aimed at broadening learning experiences beyond the classroom.
According to the school, NABET accreditation validates the effectiveness of its systems and processes and confirms compliance with quality parameters across educational and administrative functions. The recognition is also expected to strengthen stakeholder confidence by demonstrating adherence to nationally accepted standards in school education.
Parents and members of the local community have welcomed the accreditation, which further reinforces the school’s position as an educational institution focused on maintaining quality benchmarks and continuous improvement.
Looking ahead, the management said it plans to introduce additional programmes, expand experiential learning opportunities and strengthen collaborations with industry and academic partners. The school stated that it will continue to focus on improving educational outcomes while enhancing systems that support student development and institutional growth.
NABET accreditation is regarded as an important quality assurance framework for schools in India, providing an independent assessment of institutional performance and encouraging the adoption of best practices across academic, operational and governance areas.
