ETS India has partnered with Crizac Limited to expand access to authorised TOEFL® and GRE® preparation resources for more than one lakh students in India planning to pursue higher education abroad.
The partnership combines ETS’ official test preparation resources with Crizac’s student recruitment and counselling network to improve access to admissions support and preparation materials for students applying to universities overseas.
Through Crizac’s network of more than 14,000 recruitment partners across 85 countries, the initiative will provide students with official TOEFL and GRE preparation resources alongside counselling support. Crizac works with over 500 universities in 14 countries and supports around 400,000 student applications each year.
The collaboration comes as overseas education demand continues to grow beyond metropolitan centres, with increasing numbers of students from Tier II and Tier III cities seeking admissions guidance and recognised English language and graduate admissions tests.
Karan Lalit, Executive Director, South Asia, TOEFL & GRE, ETS, said the partnership would make authorised preparation resources more accessible to Indian students pursuing international education. Dr Vikash Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, Crizac Limited, said the collaboration would combine official preparation resources with counselling support and scholarship opportunities for eligible students.
As part of the partnership, official TOEFL and GRE preparation resources will be integrated into Crizac’s study abroad counselling services, with the programme expected to support at least 100,000 students annually.
Separately, ETS said it plans to expand its network of authorised TOEFL and GRE test centres in India from more than 65 to 100 over the next year. The organisation also plans to open a fourth authorised test centre in Kolkata in collaboration with Crizac in 2027.
