Hemali Dalal, Managing Director of JBCN Education, has launched The Next Lesson, a podcast exploring education, parenting and the future of learning.
The podcast was unveiled through live conversations featuring journalist Faye D’Souza and Tejas Jhaveri, Founder of AI-first B2B lead generation company Myntmore. The sessions examined learning through artificial intelligence and human interaction.
Dalal and Jhaveri discussed the role of AI in learning, including AI-related fears, hallucinations, content creation and the need for guardrails. Jhaveri said administrative and repetitive tasks could be automated, but emotions could not be outsourced to AI.
In her conversation with D’Souza, Dalal discussed active listening, empathy, curiosity and the importance of asking difficult questions. D’Souza said AI could help teachers improve but could not replace them.
“The Next Lesson explores this intersection of the future and timeless human qualities, with educators, parents, mentors and learners sharing their experiences,” Dalal said.
The podcast will cover topics including reading in a digital world, leadership, emotional intelligence, future-ready skills, play-based learning and wellness. Guests will include children’s author Lubaina Bandukwala, Yuvaa co-founder Nikhil Taneja, wellness expert Luke Coutinho and Collective Artists Network Founder and Group CEO Vijay Subramaniam.
Season one of The Next Lesson is available on YouTube.
