Lovely Professional University (LPU) showcased 15 artificial intelligence projects at the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 held in New Delhi, presenting student- and researcher-led innovations across education, agriculture, robotics, enterprise technology, accessibility and healthcare.
The summit brought together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, startups and academic institutions to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in economic development, sustainability and the future of work. LPU said its participation reflected its focus on applied AI research and innovation.
The university exhibited projects including TheApplicable, a browser-based electronics development platform; Genoma Space, an AI model-building environment; Exanor, a business management solution integrating finance and analytics; and Macbease, a digital collaboration platform for academic communities.
Several innovations addressed accessibility and health. MateZ AI was presented as a digital companion for mental wellbeing support, while EduBraille combines tactile hardware and gamified learning to support Braille literacy. FemoraAI offers menstrual and wellness tracking with personalised health insights.
Agriculture-focused solutions included Dr. Kisaan, an AI agribot for crop disease detection, Agent Harvest, an autonomous drone system for precision spraying, and Krishika AI, a voice-enabled advisory platform providing localised farming guidance.
In robotics and mobility, A.U.R.A., an autonomous underwater robotic assistant, demonstrated inspection and navigation applications, while VRITRA, an AI-enabled VTOL unmanned aerial vehicle, highlighted use cases in disaster response and logistics. Sahayak, an offline AI learning assistant, was also showcased for use in low-connectivity classrooms.
Ashok Mittal, Chancellor of LPU, said artificial intelligence should support equity and sustainability alongside economic growth, adding that innovation platforms provide collaboration and global exposure for researchers and student innovators.
According to the university, LPU has incubated more than 250 startups and secured over 2,900 patents, reflecting its expanding research and innovation ecosystem.
