Masters’ Union has opened its AI labs, technology infrastructure and faculty support to women students, entrepreneurs, professionals and innovators at its DLF Cyber Park campus in Gurugram on Saturdays and Sundays at no cost.

The initiative aims to provide women working on technology and product ideas with access to tools, infrastructure and mentorship for prototyping, testing and developing their projects.

Participants will have access to the institution’s Makers Lab facilities for projects involving fabrication, electronics, robotics, design and product development. The programme is open to school and college students, startup founders, designers, entrepreneurs and independent innovators.

Projects may include assistive and smart devices, robotics and drone applications, consumer products, sustainability solutions, retail technology, packaging innovations and early-stage startup prototypes. No prior AI experience or formal technology education is required.

Sudhanshu Garg, Senior Director, Masters’ Union Makers Lab, said the initiative seeks to provide women with access to tools, workspaces and mentors to build and test their ideas. He said women are already working across areas such as consumer products, climate, mobility, robotics, manufacturing and design.

Participants will also be able to seek guidance from Masters’ Union faculty and subject experts while developing their projects.

Slots will be allocated based on availability, safety requirements, the project’s relevance to the facility and the level of support required.
