Nara Lokesh addressed students of Greenwood High International School at the IB Diploma Graduation Day for the Class of 2026, calling on them to pursue purpose, uphold integrity and take responsibility as they move forward.
Speaking as chief guest, Lokesh said education should develop independent thinking rather than focus only on examinations. He urged students to make decisions guided by purpose rather than trends and stressed the importance of ethics, describing integrity as a lifelong guide.
The ceremony, held at the school’s Sarjapur campus under the theme “Pioneering Possibilities”, marked the completion of the IB Diploma Programme. Students, parents and faculty attended the event, which included formal recognitions and student-led segments.
Lokesh also highlighted the need for adaptability, resilience and curiosity, and encouraged students to contribute to society and the nation.
The school reported that graduates from the Class of 2026 have secured admissions to universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and Asia. Several students also received scholarships from international institutions.
Managing Trustee Niru Agarwal said the graduating cohort reflected academic achievement and personal development, and expressed confidence in their future paths.
The event concluded with the traditional cap toss, marking the transition of students to the next stage of their education.
