The Ryan Group of Institutions and the All-India Football Federation (AIFF) have launched the School Grassroots Football Programme at Prakash Padukone CSE, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
The programme follows an MoU between AIFF and Ryan Group to develop a structured football and futsal curriculum for Ryan schools. Coaches from Ryan schools in Delhi and Bengaluru have completed AIFF coaching training and certification as part of the initiative.
The programme will be introduced in 25 schools across 10 cities during the 2026–27 academic year. It will provide students with structured football coaching, an AIFF-certified curriculum and futsal training.
“Today marks a significant milestone for us as we partner with Ryan Group of Institutions to strengthen grassroots football in India. Ryan’s legacy in education and their belief in structured sport make them a natural partner for this journey. With over 150 schools across the country, this collaboration lets us reach and inspire thousands of young students,” said M. Satyanarayan, Deputy Secretary General, AIFF.
Ryan Pinto, CEO, Ryan Group of Institutions, said the programme would strengthen the sporting culture across Ryan schools by introducing structured football and futsal programmes and investing in coach training and certification. He added that the partnership aims to make football part of school education while promoting teamwork, discipline and holistic development.
